The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA)  has appointed John McDowell, president of McDowell, a Resource Label Group Company, to its board of directors. John McDowell has been an FTA member since 1997 and brings decades of experience to the association’s leadership team. Before he joined McDowell, John McDowell served as an owner/operator of the world’s largest Gold’s Gym licensee at the time. He eventually divested from the fitness industry and joined his family’s business, McDowell Label. What began as a temporary role quickly sparked a new passion – to help fulfill his father’s dream of uniting all three McDowell brothers in the company and to build upon the family’s legacy in the printing industry.
